Booking Appointments

If any of our staff feel ill or have symptoms of C0VlD-19 or been track and traced to a known confirmed contact case, they will self-isolate immediately and not come into the salon. This may mean that we have to cancel your appointment at short notice. We appreciate that this may be inconvenient, but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled, you will be able to re-book again.

If you or any of the people you live with feel ill, or display any symptoms of C0VlD-19 – please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO THE SALON FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. You will not be charged for any appointments which you miss, due to illness or self-isolating, but we just ask that where possible you allow enough time for us to refill the booking.

When booking appointments, we ask that you email, leave a voicemail request or book online if possible. A 50% deposit will be charged when booking online. If you need to change the date, or amend the booking, no further charge will be incurred.

We want to make sure you are 100% happy. If you are not satisfied with your hair colour or cut, change your mind or if the style isn’t for you, please email us or call us within the first 7 days and we will do our best to make you happy with no extra charge.

All new Clients – clients who have not had Aveda colour in the last 6 months or colour corrections, must have a patch test at least 48 hours prior to any colour service. 

APPOINTMENTS WILL BE HELD FOR UP TO 10 MINUTES PAST THE BOOKED TIME. After which, if we are unable to make contact with you, we may offer the appointment to another client. You will be able to re-book again.

If late cancellations repeatedly happen, a charge of 50% may be incurred at the Managers discretion.

Data privacy notice

Your privacy is very important to us; we are committed to respecting your privacy and the security of your personal information and data. Our privacy policy describes the information we collect, how we use it and your rights regarding your data.

Here at Hair Emporium Hassocks LTD we hold mobile phone numbers, names and email addresses. We store mobile numbers and email address to be able to call you and contact you regarding appointments or offers that we may have. The computer system stores phone numbers and email addresses and is password protected so no one without the password can get access to the data.

The data isn’t shared with anyone else.

We also keep phone numbers and email to be able to confirm the booking by text and or email. We will remind you of the appointment 3 days prior by text.

If no contact is made within 18 months from previous appointments, your contact file will be removed from the system including all colour details.
